An inn is a place to rest, a place to talk and share stories, a place to find adventure, or a starting ground for quests and legends. It is in this world, at least. To Erin Solstice, an inn seems like a medieval relic from the past. But here she is, running from Goblins and trying to survive in a world full of monsters and magic. She’d be more excited about all of this if everything wasn’t trying to kill her. But an inn is what she’s found, and so that’s what she becomes; an innkeeper, who serves drinks to heroes and monsters.
Actually, mostly monsters. But it’s a living, right?

I bought every one of these books on Audible and it was well worth paying for. This author deserves every penny. Thanks for the work you put into this. Let’s hope others will feel the same as I do. Great upload!

24×7, these 9 books make for over 2 weeks of audio listening …and by the end you’ll wish it was twice that. It’s that good. If you’ve got extra Audible credits, spend some on this series. Its worth every cent.

TLDR: Incredible series with incredible narration.
Almost as the end of book 9 and came to leave my thoughts:
I was dubious about this series, me being old and old-school but i thought id give it a try. Despite being contemporary and being about a fantasy world that functions like an RPG, with literal levels and classes, its done brilliant rivals any other series ive ever read (or listened to). The books are long, and there are many of them in the series, but unlike other long series there is absolutely nothing that feels like filler or like the series is being milked for all its worth. every single moment, let alone every single book, is top class entertainment and i would have left out one single word of it. And dont get me started on the narrator, Andrea Parsneau! ive never heard her (or of her) before but shes brilliant. One of the best ive ever had the pleasure of listening to.
This is so good in both content and narration that i honestly think theres only one thing ive enjoyed more and thats Joe Abercrombie’s ‘First Law Trilogy’ with the incredible narration of Steven Pacey.
If you read this far well done.
