@chrisshea - I just uploaded Book 2 (there are 5 books in this series so far, I do not have the rest). As far as a “Dresden Files” feel, umm, well, NO - not even close. This is much more tongue-in-cheek, younger, snarkier, and all together “lighter” than DF. Not to say that it’s YA - this is NOT YA; just a more “juvenile’ writing style…

@chrisshea - to be clear - THIS series is much closer to “CAL LEANDROS” by Rob Thurman than Butcher’s “Dresden Files”. Hope, that helps…

Thanks SophieNYC for the reference this was extremely helpful in deciding to give this book a go. I’m a huge Dresdan Files fan and have read the Cal Landros novels but did find them a touch dark for my liking but still good books. I can recommend for those Urban Fantasy fans Alex Verus Series as close as I’v found to DF.

hmm .. sounds good Soph, myself I lost any interest in the Dresden files a few books in.
They just did not.. Anyway hope these are good darker the better with humor and less YA stupidity one hopes.
