Mp4? You mean M4B? If you have any issues try VLC media player.

I did use inAudible and usually when I open it the settings are the same as the previous usage. Obviously I unknowingly changed the format. In the future I will double check everything. As I posted earlier if you are unable to listen to it let me know.

It plays as a video file with MPC.. Foobar2000 just doesn’t work with the current format, changing the extension to mp3 or m4b doesn’t help either..
While you are at it, I would appreciate it if you could do book one of the series as well. :))

It appears to be an aac file. I ran it through mp4box and got an m4b file that plays as any other m4b files.. :) Thanks :)

VLC can convert files like this if anyone need it in a proper audio container. Check under menu: Media > Convert/Save

mp4 is converting as text in vlc. any way around this?

@sikodud5 choose media then convert/save, add the title you want, hit the down arrow on convert/save choose convert, choose profile as audio-mp3, then click the wrench beside that, make encapsulation as mp3, go to audio codec, choose audio NOT keep original audio track, change encoding parameters codec to mp3, leave bitrate alone, channels on mine is 2, sample rate on mine is 8000HZ, I chose to add no extra filters, left video codec and subtitles off, hit save, chose my destination file for where I wanted, re-titled the file what I wanted and added .mp3 at the end of it and pressed start.
If this doesn’t work, I’m sorry there’s no other way I know how.

Takes ages to load into Smart Audiobookplayer. starting at 77% it just repeats first 5 Minutes of the file. Appreciate the effort! But repackage would be AWESOME!
